These are examples of silicone molds made from either existing components or 3D SLA resin printed components to produce molding plugs. When casting complex shapes or parts with thin walls, a plug may be needed. The plugs are cast from an epoxy material which can withstand temperatures of 350°F making it suited well for low-temp metal casting.
